Crabtree and Evelyn Shortbread review
Crabtree and Evelyn Shortbread

Yes, you didn't read wrong... Crabtree and Evelyn the famous English hand cream maker has decided to make some good old traditional Scottish Shortbread! Actually, they have started making them for about a year ago, but I didn't get my hands on them till now (thanks Patty for buying me some 😍)

close up of name

Crabtree and Evelyn has been known for quality so I had high hopes for these shortbreads.

nutrition info

The ingredients seem quite safe... But there is slightly too much butter... and that is reflected on its nutrients.

The net weight is 290g and the nutrition is based on 100g... you can see how much energy, fat and sodium is contained in each cookie... er... shortbread.

one piece of short bread

Impressions
Strong buttery taste
Fluffy
Very crumbly
Made my fingers extremely oily

look at the fluffiness!

I loved these... But please eat with caution, while these taste delicious, they certainly can be quite fattening... I hope they improve the recipe by making these less oily...

Score: 8.5/10
