Hey beautiful sunshines!!

Lately my eyes have been getting red, tired, dry... and... in other words, they were feeling extremely uncomfortable.

V 樂敦 refreshing eye drops review New V Rohto Plus Eye Drops
New V Rohto Plus Eye Drops
I guess you can't read what it says so let me type it out:

Indications/Efficacy:
Relives eyestrain, conjunctival congestion, discomfort due to use of hard contact lenses, minor eye irritation, remove redness of eye, refresh & soothe tired & sore eyes, eye itching,

Directions:
Instill 2 to 3 drops 4 to 5 times per day

Impressions
  • Ouch! This stuff stings!!!!!
  • Very refreshing
  • Tastes sweet(?)
  • Cool minty sensation
  • Very effective
  • Container was bulky but didn't help me instill these drops easily.

When they claim that it will be refreshing, I didn't expect the drops to be "this refreshing". It literally feels like you are putting mint drops into your eyes!! The sting was shocking at first (you will sort of eventually get used to it). There was a refreshing sensation (just like how it feels after you indulge on a mint candy cane).

Some drops sled down my face and into my mouth and they sort of tasted slightly sweet... which was weird... since most drops are salty tasting.

I found the container quite difficult to dispense the drops into my eyes, I always end up dropping them onto my face. (such as waste of product).

That being said though, what surprised me the most is the effectiveness of these drops. After putting 2 drops into each eye, I looked in the mirror and all the redness was gone! My eyes were no longer tired and no longer itchy. The relieve of tireness doesn't last too long... but my eyes did temporarily feel refreshed.

Verdict:
I loved these drops, because they work, however, I am definitely NOT a fan of the stinging sensation... I don't know whether it will affect my eyes in the long run.

Tim Horton' s creamy chocolate chill review

Tim Horton' s creamy chocolate chill review
Creamy Chocolate Chill size Small

I have finally gotten a chance to try Tim Horton's highly advertised Creamy Chocolate Chill! It's been a while since I have been to Tim Horton's, so visiting this place literally brings nostalgic feelings of undergrad for me (yes... It has been THAT long ago).

Impressions

  • Very creamy
  • Very sweet
  • Rich in chocolate taste
  • Prefer more ice taste similar to iced cappuccino

I was quite shocked with the amount of sugar, since it wasn't that sweet. Based on the nutrition facts, it will be best to only have this once in a while.

A word of caution:

After trying this same product in different Tim Horton's shops, I realized that not all Creamy Chocolate Chills were created equally... Not to impose any negativity on the smaller shops, but I find that smaller (non 24 hour stores especially) lacked the strong bold Chocolatety taste that would make it taste good... Tim Horton's lack of quality control and fails badly (the bad ones taste and look hardly like the good ones).

Difference between better quality and worse quality chocolate chills:

(There was something wrong with inserting and writing tables into this page... so I'll just write a summary instead)

Here are indications of a bad Creamy Chocolate Chill:
  • Lots of ice
  • ice was not shaved properly
  • hardly any chocolate/cocoa taste
  • too sweet
  • too much cream (on top)
  • watered down

A&W' s handcrafted Onion Rings review

Apologies for the late review... this week has been tediously busy...

Onion Rings from A&W

A&W is definitely one of the more popular fast food restaurants in Toronto. And recently, it seems they have made improvements to their

don't you feel annoyed when your images are turned 90 degrees for no apparent reason?

The salt amount was perfect... it was enough to enhance the taste of the batter and onion rings. I didn't feel the need to dip them in ketchup as they were nicely moistened inside.

Each Onion ring was a different size.
The pictures do a good job showing how non greasy it was.

I was very impressed! It has been some time since I have ordered from A&Ws... I was very impressed with their onion rings and I will likely be buying more from them... The price is reasonable for such great quality and I didn't have any guilty feeling after eating

Nan Wah Restaurant 南華餐廳 review

This post might not appeal to those who are not fans of eating animal organs... so don't say I didn't warn you! This review is about the Nan Wah Restaurant located in Ho Man Tin.

mixed fruit cocktail with Sprite
This drink was surprisingly good... I didn't expect it to taste good... in fact, I wasn't even expecting it to be tasty... if you have a chance, I suggest you try it (or make it at home :P) I think the price was $8 HKD (approximately $1.02 USD).

beef organs $60 HKD

Beef organs $60 HKD (approx. $7.75 USD)
One of my favourite foods in this world are beef organs... I know it doesn't sound too appealing... but trust me... they are good!  They usually consist of: beef liver, beef kidney, beef stomach, beef lungs and beef intestines.

Impressions
  • Very filling
  • Well seasoned
  • intestines were too fatty and oily

I loved how well seasoned and marinated these Beef organs were. Canadian version cannot be compared at all. At first, I was quite surprised that it was quite pricey (as this is only a "casual" cafe)... but after the dish came, I realized the portion was huge! I couldn't finish it... I was a bit disappointed with the intestines as I felt they were slightly too fat and oily.

Snapple Peach Green Tea review

Snapple Peach Green Tea review

Summer is finally here! Wow... I waited so long... So, while Sumner is here, it is evitable that we would be hot and dehydrated... So, the other day, I was at Walmart and thirsty... So I grabbed myself this drink...

Snapple Peach Green Tea

Impressions:

  • This is green Tea?
  • Slight irritating... stinging sensation to mouth
  • does not quench thirst
  • very "cheap" (only $0.89 CND)

I did not like this drink...
A look at their ingredients will tell you right away that this drink is filled with chemicals... How disappointing... I couldn't taste the Green Tea and the Peach flavour wasn't "peachy".

I will not get this drink or anything from Snapple because their drinks are filled with just chemicals. I honestly don't think anyone should drink so many chemicals... especially when the taste isn't that good...
